Why I'm not where you are

I'm too busy trying to find my mind,
last I remember it was in the garage with dad and his tools.

My eyes leak when I drive,
it's become a hazard.

My ears got splattered with reality today,
so I hung them out to dry on the clothes line.
They just need to breathe.

Dad said I'd wake the neighbors.

My art teacher took my hands,
he said he'll give them back when I remember how to use them.

I locked my heart in my car.

Mom says I have to clean my rib cage before I can do anything.

I can't find the right kind of feet to put on,
the ones I like are dirty.
